Ramblers at The John O'Gaunt Pub
The John O'Gaunt Inn in Sutton is host to over 15 different Rambling groups. Sutton is at the crossroads of many walks covering Potton, Wrestlingworth, Eyeworth, Dunton, Biggleswade, Sandy and the RSPB. Come Back to A Freshly Prepared Meal One of the most popular walks is about 7 kilometers and groups generally meet at the pub,, order their lunch, go on the walk and return to the pub ready to eat and to sample some of the finest real ales available anywhere. Grumpy's Walk is a popular winter event held at the pub. Organised by Brian 'Grumpy' Evans and accompanied by his trusty companion Dino the dog, the participants are taken on a 5-7 mile walk around the Sutton area. The walk culminates in a mass gathering in the Lounge Bar, as the walkers are treated to a plate of sausage, mash, and onion gravy. |
