Folk Music Sessions

We hold folk music sessions on a regular basis at the John O'Gaunt. Enthusiasts from all over come along with their voices and instruments and join in with the locals. If you're lucky the landlord himself will grace you with a song or two. Folk Music sessions are on the first and third Friday of the month and it is completely free.

We have regular visits from established Folk Music artists who entertain the masses at the John O'Gaunt or in the Village Hall across the road. Coming soon :

Letchworth Morris Men

The Letchworth Morris Men always include the John O'Gaunt Pub in their itinerary each year. They were formed in 1922 and in collaboration with five other clubs they founded, in 1934, the Morris Ring, whose member clubs now number into the hundreds. The Side is proud to continue the development of English Morris, a traditional pastime that combines the elements of team spirit, showmanship and individual expertise. Much pleasure and satisfaction is derived from dancing in front of an appreciative audience.

Baldock Midnight Morris

Baldock Midnight Morris is a mixed Morris Dancing side, founded in 1996 in Baldock. They too are frequent visitors to the John O'Gaunt Inn at Sutton
