Clubs
We operate a number of clubs for the benefit of the community and host many other clubs/gatherings. Here are a few examples:

Shares Club
Chaired by Richard Gardener, a group of investors regularly meet to discuss (apportion blame) or rejoice in (take credit) the latest investment performance. Fortunes are not made or lost but sometimes it feels like it!

Book Club
Hosted by Annie Gilpin who is reknowned for her ability to talk at great length and with great authority about the "book of the month" (or indeed anything really!). An enlightening evening is promised and invariably delivered.

Over the last 35 years the MGOC has concentrated on making it easier, cheaper and more enjoyable to own an MG. National Farmers' Union
NFU East Anglia covers Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. From the fertile Fens to the extensively grazed grasslands within the Waveney Valley, the region has one of the most productive agricultural landscapes in the world. As well as producing quality food, farmers and growers support thousands of jobs, manage the countryside and offer solutions to alleviate problems posed by climate change. The local branch meets regularly at the pub.

Young Farmers
Biggleswade YFC the most successful, fun loving and good looking young farmers club in Bedfordshire! They regularly hold events and meetings at the John O'Gaunt Inn. You don't have to be involved in farming - in fact a lot of members aren't - just be between 14 and 26 and willing to get involved, get to know people and have fun!!

Biggleswade Athletic Club
Regular visitors to the pub, these athletes earn their beer. Either a 6 mile run through the footpaths and bridleways or the Christmas special 2.5 mile handicap run followed by a pub run dressed as fairies around the pubs of Sandy, Potton and Sutton. The John O'Gaunt is a favourite because they can indulge in their next favourite past-time...singing very badly.
